Emilie's Paris

Created in 1633, the Palais-Royal Garden is a must while in Paris. Its history, incredible design mixed with the contemporary Daniel Buren columns and its great cafes and restaurants make it a fun place to visit.   The model is wearing "la robe TOUT" from the collection inspired by and in collaboration with the artist Emilia Azcárate. She is standing next to a Buren Column, created by the French artist Daniel Buren, known for his conceptual and minimalist works.

Did you know that the only sculpture by Picasso exhibited outside in Paris was displayed right here, next to the church Saint Germain-des-Prés? This artwork, made of bronze, had been offered by the Spanish master to the city of Paris in 1959 as a tribute to his beloved friend and supporter the French poet Guillaume Apollinaire who died from Spanish flu in 1918 and it represents his lover Dora Maar, a talented surrealist photographer - whom he put in Café Les Deux Magots in 1935, just in front of the church.
